Processing Status Explained: From Upload to Completion
DocPurify tasks move through a few clear stages: uploading, waiting, processing, completed, failed, and cancelled.
Status & Scope
Current status: Live. This guide focuses on setup, what is available now, and the current limits.
Status labels are there to help you decide what to do next, not to expose every internal detail.
Core status meanings
| Status | Meaning | What you should do |
|---|---|---|
| uploading | The file is still uploading. | Keep the page open until upload and confirmation finish. |
| waiting | Upload is confirmed and the task is in queue. | You can wait, or work on something else in the meantime. |
| processing | The task is actively running. | Watch progress and review the result after completion. |
| completed | Output files are ready. | Download the results and review the content. |
| failed | The task did not complete successfully. | Check the error guidance and retry after adjusting the input. |
| cancelled | The task was cancelled by request or flow. | Start a new run when you are ready. |
Note
A task only enters actual processing after upload confirmation succeeds.
Current limits
Status transitions still depend on file size, selected options, and queue pressure. Use the final task status and result availability as the source of truth.
FAQ
How long does waiting usually last?
It depends on current queue length and the processing options selected for the task.
Can I use the result as soon as status shows completed?
Yes. Completed means processing has finished and result links are usually available immediately.
